Welcome to the RCSCR!

The Rensselaer Center for Stem Cell Research is a shared-use facility providing state-of-the-art equipment and expert training for stem cell research. The Center is available to investigators from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Albany area institutions, New York State and beyond. Located in the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies on the RPI campus, the RCSCR was opened in 2012 with funding from the State of New York (NYSTEM). The Center will be an important  resource for the flourishing Capital Region stem cell research community. Striving at the interface between biology and engineering, area investigators are making significant contributions in both basic and translational stem cell biology.
